I don't think I've ever had a 14 hour day fly by so quickly - there were so many great, colorful photo ops at Amy and Gerald's wedding that it seems like I still barely had time to capture them all. Amy is a florist and event designer (Merveille Events) and so she'd seen a wedding or two and knew the biggest rules for helping your photographer create great images:
- Incorporate bright colors, LOTS of them!
- Location, location, location - Amy & Gerald chose St. Mary's for the ceremony, the amazing Hotel Saint Cecilia for the post-ceremony bride and groom shots, and the Design Center of Austin for the reception, all of which make a camera happy.
- Allow plenty of "buffer time" between the ceremony and reception for grabbing some unique shots of the bride & groom.
I could type on and on, but I'm sure you'd enjoy looking at the photos much more than reading about them.
