Kirsten and Robert's wedding is a great example of the benefits of "sneaking away" for a bit during the reception - the bride and groom get a chance to relax together and take a break from all the smiling and shaking hands, and the photographer (me) gets the opportunity to create some fun photos. All of the photos with the red sofa were shot in the bride's room during the reception, and while I usually post all of the photos in chronological order, I broke that rule here because I love these photos and I want them to be at the top of the page - and it's my blog so there.
Also a great recommendation for couples: You'll see at the bottom of this post that we shot some daytime portraits out on the streets - these were actually done the next day, which is a great option for couples who are coming in from out of state (like Kirsten and Robert) and don't have the opportunity to use their session credit beforehand. It's nice to know that you can run around grungy streets without worrying that your dress/suit will get dirty! Big thanks to Kirsten and Robert for being such good sports and giving me so many great opportunities!

I only hope that I can be as dapper as this fellow when I grow up:
